The result was keep based on WP:GNG, although there is not clear agreement on how WP:NPOL applies to her situation. RL0919 (talk) 12:27, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

Fails WP:NPOL, most of the news are for her failed candidacy for Governor of Wisconsin, she is known as the daughter Trek Bicycle Corporation founder Richard Burke. Most of the references are interviews or primary. Meeanaya (talk) 04:34, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

- Delete defeated candidates for governor are not default notable.John Pack Lambert (talk) 15:02, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. She is a state Secretary of Commerce, a statewide office under WP:NPOL. FoxyGrampa75 (talk) 03:14, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Keep per WP:NPOL. Squeeps10 Talk to meMy edits 18:55, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Delete It's not a statewide office that meets WP:NPOL, if we are going to get technical the Secretary of Commerce is the head of a department within the Wisconsin Governor's office. GPL93 (talk) 22:38, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Comment The Secretary of Commerce is not an elected position in Wisconsin and would not merit a
WP:GNGWP:NPOL pass, nor does service on the Madison School Board. The appropriate standard is WP:GNG --Enos733 (talk) 19:14, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
- WP:NPOL does not distinguish between elected or appointed, and wording in WP:POLOUTCOMES's "in general" section equally put "elected and appointed" on the same line. FoxyGrampa75 (talk) 21:49, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

- Keep- she was the secretary of a state department with a $387 Million annual budget. Bearian (talk) 18:38, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- The size of an organization's budget is not a notability freebie for its CEO or secretary or other executive members in the absence of a WP:GNG-passing volume of reliable source coverage about the person's work in the role. Bearcat (talk) 15:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

- Keep In my opinion, this article is a clear case for inclusion / against deletion. She is notable in multiple capacities as a candidate for statewide office (and the first major-party women nominee for governor in Wisconsin), administrator of a large bureaucracy, and longtime member of the Madison school board with ample secondary documentation. See [1] and [2] [3]and [4] for some examples of secondary coverage. Mnation2 (talk) 17:10, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- Keep Subject just seems to squeak past WP:GNG. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 04:59, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
